In interactive relational situations, especially ones that involve groups or teams, people are motivated to work, think and react differently based on the varying strengths of the seven intrinsic relational motivations. Below you will see the initials of these seven motivations surrounding the seven-point IMAGE Star logo. As you move your cursor over these initials, a description will appear to the right. Read these descriptions, then rank the role described from most often to least often based on which role you most often adopt in a group or team situation. To do this, click on the letter of the corresponding motivation in the order that it applies to you, starting with the most frequent and continuing in sequence to end with the least frequent. When you are finished, click on the View Results button to view a bar graph illustrating your specific interpersonal preferences based upon your selection.
