One of the more difficult things for people to do is to discover their own uniqueness and to accept it. We live in a society that gives far more emphasis to conformity than to uniqueness. Consider the following arenas:
Usually a certain type is identified as a good or right type, and everybody else is encouraged, if not expected, to conform to this pattern. Society becomes an assembly line turning out plastic widgets, trying to make each widget like the others.
This is wrong! We were created as unique individuals, and we all respond to life in a different way.
The profile of our intrinsic motivations makes up an important part of that uniqueness.
Life Discovery bases its approach to human dynamics on the research and theories of Dr. Bill Millard concerning human identity. He strongly advocates a strengths-based approach to understanding our unique purpose in life, and he believes that a great deal about human uniqueness can be discovered in what he calls the Strengths Matrix which identifies 5 key domains of strengths in our lives.

Physical Strengths: The capacity of your life that gives your body distinct features and enables you to perform specific actions with your body.
Emotional Strengths: The capacity of your life that enables you to identify, access, generate, understand, regulate, and use feelings and sensibility.
Intellectual Strengths: The capacity of your life that enables you to discover, understand, and apply truth in an ever-expanding manner.
Psychological Strengths: The capacity of your life that enables you to exercise your will in deciding upon courses of action.
Spiritual Strengths: The capacity of your life that enables you to discern and respond in service to divine supernatural inner leading.
STRNGTHS IN 4D--Each of the strength domains within you has elements from four distinct dimensions:
Gifts: Your innate capabilities and features in a strength domain that came into your life without your own doing.
Knowledge: Information and understanding you gain by learning about a strength domain and how to incorporate it into your life.
Skills: Abilities you develop in a strength domain by repeated practice of the disciplines and actions associated with the strength domain.
Disposition: Attitudes you develop and adopt that reflect your beliefs and values concerning a strength domain.
TOTAL: Your overall strength in a domain is determined by the synergistic combination of all four dimensions.:
